Instructions
- 1. Whisk the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
- 2. In a stand mixer, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- 3. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla, then beat until incorporated.
- 4. Mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- 5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- 6. Cover the dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- 8. Scoop the dough onto the sheets, roll into balls, and flatten them.
- 9. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, rotating trays halfway through.
- 10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
