Ingredients

  • cups chickpeas, fully cooked or 1 can
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 small ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Blend cooked chickpeas, garlic, tahini, salt, ground cumin, half of the paprika, and lemon juice for 2 minutes.
  2. Add ice cubes and blend for an additional minute until smooth.
  3. Spoon the hummus into a serving dish.
  4. Sprinkle remaining paprika on top, drizzle with olive oil, and serve immediately.
