Ingredients

The dough

  • 1 ⅓ cup warm water
  • 2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 2 ¼ teaspoon dry active yeast
  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon sea salt

The toppings

  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Combine warm water and sugar in a bowl and stir.
  2. Sprinkle yeast over the water and let it sit until foamy.
  3. Mix in flour, olive oil, and salt, and knead the dough for 5 minutes.
  4. Shape the dough into a ball, coat with olive oil, and let it rise in a warm place for 45-60 minutes.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle or circle and let it rise for another 20 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  7. Place the dough in a baking sheet and make indentations on the surface.
  8. Drizzle olive oil over the dough and sprinkle with rosemary and flaky salt.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
