Shrimp Chow Mein

refrigerated yakisoba noodles (approximately 11 ounces total)

sliced green onion tops

julienned carrots

thinly sliced white or yellow onion

thinly sliced celery

shredded green cabbage

soy sauce

honey

minced fresh ginger

minced fresh garlic

toasted sesame oil

Instructions
- Heat half of the oil in a large pan over high heat and cook the white onion until it starts to brown.
- Add the carrots and celery, cooking until they soften.
- Stir in the cabbage with some water and cook until wilted.
- Remove the vegetables from the pan and set aside.
- Heat the remaining oil in the pan and cook the shrimp until pink and opaque.
- Return the vegetables to the pan with the shrimp.
- Prepare the yakisoba noodles by running them under hot water until loosened, then add to the pan.
- Mix soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil in a bowl and pour over the noodle mixture, tossing to coat.
- Add green onions and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
