Instructions
- Soak the chow mein noodles in cold water for about 5 minutes, rinse until the water runs clear, then drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine all ingredients for the Chow Mein Sauce and set aside.
- Heat oil in a skillet or wok, add garlic and stir-fry until light brown.
- Add chicken and shrimp, stir until half cooked, then add cabbage and carrot, stirring quickly.
- Incorporate the noodles and soy sauce mixture, stir-fry until well combined and fully cooked.
- Add chopped scallions, stir a few more times, then serve hot.
