Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 tablespoons tamari
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the coconut flakes in a large bowl.
  3. In a smaller bowl, mix together the tamari, liquid smoke, maple syrup, and smoked paprika, then pour it over the coconut flakes and toss to coat.
  4. Spread the coated coconut evenly on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 12 minutes, keeping an eye on it to prevent burning, then let cool completely.
