Ingredients

  • 8 ounces keto elbow macaroni
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ large onion, chopped
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 16 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • cups mozzarella cheese, grated
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, finely grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and grease an 8-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the keto macaroni according to the package instructions.
  3. In a non-stick pan, heat the olive oil, then add the chopped onion and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped bacon and cook for another minute.
  5. Add the ground beef and cook until no longer pink, then stir in the tomato sauce and cook for another minute.
  6. Drain the cooked macaroni and mix it into the beef mixture, then stir in half of the cheeses.
  7. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, top with the remaining cheese, and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Let the casserole sit for a few minutes before serving, adding any desired cheeseburger toppings.
