Ingredients

The Brussels Sprouts

  • 2 10- or 12-ounce bags frozen Brussels sprouts

The Seasoning

  • 2 ½ tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Optional Enhancements

  • to taste freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F with a rimmed baking sheet inside.
  2. Once heated, remove the baking sheet and add the frozen Brussels sprouts in a single layer.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper, then stir to coat.
  5. Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until browned.
  6. Add optional lemon juice and Parmesan before serving.
