  • 2 10- or 12-ounce bags frozen Brussels sprouts
  • tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Optional flavor enhancers

  • to taste freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F and place a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper in the oven.
  2. Once the oven is hot, add the frozen Brussels sprouts to the baking sheet and spread them out.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan and drizzle the sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then stir to coat.
  5. Return the pan to the oven and continue baking for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until browned and tender.
  6. Add lemon juice and Parmesan if desired before serving.
