Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a pan until crispy, then set aside and keep the bacon fat.
- Slice the cabbage into 3/4-inch thick slices.
- In a plastic bag, mix olive oil, lemon juice, sea salt, and black pepper.
- Add the bacon fat and sautéed garlic to the marinade and mix well.
- Coat the cabbage steaks in the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat and grill the cabbage steaks for 4-8 minutes on each side.
- Alternatively, preheat the oven to 425°F, arrange the cabbage on a baking sheet, and roast for 30-35 minutes.
