Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and toast the peanuts until browned and fragrant.
- Brown the butter in a skillet and let it cool until it begins to solidify.
- Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl and beat the egg, sugars, and water in another bowl until light.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then add the peanut butter, chopped peanuts, and brown butter.
- Form the dough into balls, flatten them with a fork, and chill for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F, sprinkle cookies with sugar and salt, and bake until browned.
- Cool the cookies on a wire rack.
