Ingredients

The cookie dough

  • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons packed light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons beaten egg
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

The toppings

  • ¼ cup Reese’s Pieces
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the beaten egg, vanilla extract, and peanut butter, and mix until combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing on low speed until combined.
  5. Fold in the Reese’s Pieces and chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, forming a tall and round ball.
  7. Bake for 19-22 minutes until the edges are lightly browned.
  8. Cool the cookie on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before serving.
