Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten free oat flour
  • 3 tbsp coconut sugar
  • tsp baking powder
  • a pinch sea salt

Wet ingredients

  • cups dairy free milk
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. 1. Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk together.
  2. 2. Add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture and whisk until combined; the batter should be thick but pourable.
  3. 3. If the batter is too thick, add more milk, 1-2 tablespoons at a time, until it reaches the desired consistency.
  4. 4. Preheat the waffle maker and pour the batter into it once ready.
  5. 5. Close the lid and cook until the edges are crispy.
  6. 6. Repeat the process until all batter is used.
  7. 7. Serve the waffles with your favorite toppings.
