Ingredients

  • 2 cups Self rising flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Ground flax seed
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup Greek non-fat yogurt
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle iron and the oven to 180 degrees to keep the waffles warm.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cinnamon, and flax seed.
  3. In another bowl, combine the eggs, milk, Greek yogurt, vanilla, maple syrup, and melted butter.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, being careful not to over mix.
  5. Brush melted butter onto the waffle iron and cook the waffles according to your preference.
  6. Remove the waffles when the waffle iron indicates they are ready.
