Ingredients

The base

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • cups milk
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • a pinch coarse salt

The toppings

  • ¼ cup strawberry fruit preserves
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • ¼ cup slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the oats, peanut butter, chia seeds, maple syrup, milk, and salt.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a bowl with a lid or into 4 medium jars with a lid and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Before serving, stir in fruit preserves, more peanut butter, and more maple syrup to taste.
  4. Top with fresh strawberries and slivered almonds.
