Ingredients

The oats

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • ½ cup plain yogurt unsweetened
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Optional toppings

  • to taste blueberries
  • to taste strawberries
  • to taste melted peanut butter
  • to taste chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except toppings in a large bowl and stir well.
  2. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 5 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. When ready to serve, stir the mixture and divide it into servings.
  4. Add optional toppings like peanut butter and fresh berries if desired.
