Ingredients

The toast

  • 2 slices whole grain bread

The topping

  • avocado chunks
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Choose a ripe avocado and mash it with a fork until chunky.
  2. Squeeze lemon juice over the mashed avocado and add a pinch of salt.
  3. Toast the bread for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the toasted bread.
  5. Drizzle honey on each slice.
  6. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes to taste.
