Homemade Strawberry Sauce

Instructions
- Whisk the cornstarch and water together until dissolved.
- Place the cornstarch mixture and the other ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir the mixture as it cooks, breaking up some strawberries.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
