Instructions
- Combine chopped strawberries, sugar, water, lemon juice, and cornstarch slurry in a medium saucepan.
- Stir and bring to a simmer.
- Keep at a simmer, stirring often until thick and syrupy, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and pour over pancakes, waffles, or ice cream.
