Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce

fresh (or frozen) rhubarb stalks, trimmed of leaves, sliced into 1-inch pieces

fresh (or frozen) strawberries, sliced

organic cane sugar
Instructions
- Chop rhubarb into 1-inch pieces and slice strawberries.
- Place rhubarb and strawberries in a medium pot with lemon juice and sugar.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until thickened and tender (10-15 minutes).
- Remove from heat, cool, and store in airtight containers.
