Ingredients

  • ½ cup superfine almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 large egg
  • cup all-natural almond butter
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
  • to taste sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF and spray a bread pan with coconut oil.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, coconut flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and chocolate chips until there are no lumps.
  3. Add the egg, almond butter, maple syrup, and almond milk to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Stir in the melted coconut oil until the batter is thick and fudgy.
  5. Transfer the batter to the prepared bread pan and top with additional chocolate chips.
  6. Bake for 16-18 minutes, being careful not to overbake.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sea salt, then let cool for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
