Ingredients

The batter

  • 4 pieces mashed bananas
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • cup gluten free flour or white whole wheat flour
  • tsp cinnamon
  • a pinch nutmeg
  • a pinch salt
  • cup chocolate chips

For cooking

  • 1 tbsp avocado oil

Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas in a large bowl and mix in the eggs.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Heat the avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Drop the batter by heaping tablespoons into the skillet, forming fritters.
  7. Cook until lightly browned on each side, about 1-2 minutes per side.
  8. Serve warm.
