Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Tiny pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Soak the oats in water for 15 minutes.
  2. Drain and rinse the soaked oats thoroughly.
  3. Transfer the oats to a blender and add 2 cups of water, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  4. Add the remaining 2 cups of water and blend again.
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
