Ingredients

The base

  • 1 pound ground pork

The vegetables

  • 5–6 cups shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix
  • 3 large carrots, diagonally sliced

For serving

  • Rice
  • Green onions

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in five-spice, soy sauce, chili paste, and ground pork, breaking apart until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add coleslaw mix and carrots, tossing until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Serve over rice, garnished with green onions and Sriracha if desired.
