16-oz. bag
coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage
green onions
to taste
chopped, for garnish
The sauces
¼
cup
soy sauce
½-1
teaspoon
Sriracha (optional)
1
tablespoon
sesame oil
1
tablespoon
rice wine vinegar
Asian condiment of your choice
to taste
for drizzling (recommended: Gochujang or Japanese BBQ)
Instructions
Heat 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Crumble the ground chicken and pork into the pan and cook with the diced onions, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
Once the meat is halfway cooked, add the grated carrots and optional mushrooms, cooking until the meat is fully cooked and the onions are translucent.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, and optional Sriracha.
Add the coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage to the skillet in handfuls, stirring until it wilts.
Drizzle the soy sauce mixture over the meat and vegetable mixture, stirring to combine and heat through.
Serve the dish alone or over brown rice.
