Instructions
- Combine ground chuck beef with Italian seasoning, almond flour, minced onions, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and beaten egg.
- Form the mixture into 4 oval-shaped patties.
- Cook the patties in a pan with olive oil over medium-high heat for 4-6 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Remove the patties and set aside, covering them to keep warm.
- In the same pan, add butter and deglaze the pan.
- Add sliced onions and mushrooms, cooking until soft.
- Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, and deglaze the pan.
- In a separate bowl, combine 1-2 tablespoons of the gravy with xanthan gum until thick.
- Add the thickened mixture back to the gravy and stir until thickened.
- Return the beef patties to the pan with the gravy and stir to coat.
