Ingredients

The batter

  • 12 ounces Gluten Free Flour Blend (with xanthan gum)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar of choice
  • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ cup Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • cups plain yogurt
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 3 large eggs

Topping

  • ¼ cup Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°F and the waffle iron to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, sugar, sea salt, and baking soda.
  3. In a blender, combine the hazelnut spread and melted butter, processing for 1 minute.
  4. Add the yogurt, milk, and eggs to the blender and blend for another minute.
  5. Pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Brush the waffle iron with butter and add about ¾ cup of batter for each waffle.
  7. Cook until golden brown and transfer the waffles to the warm oven.
  8. In a small saucepan, heat the hazelnut spread over low heat until melted, adding milk if needed to thin it.
  9. Drizzle the melted hazelnut spread over the warm waffles and serve.
