Ingredients

The Brussels Sprouts

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts

The Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2-3 teaspoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch

Optional Topping

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Wash the Brussels sprouts, trim the stems, and remove the outer leaves.
  3. Cut the Brussels sprouts in half and leave the smaller ones whole.
  4. Mix together the maple syrup, olive oil, salt, pepper, Sriracha, and cornstarch in a large bowl.
  5. Add the Brussels sprouts to the bowl and toss until they are well coated.
  6. Place the coated Brussels sprouts cut side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve with the optional spicy topping drizzled on top.
