Ingredients

  • 3 whole ripe bananas
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup white whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, almond milk, vanilla extract, and melted coconut oil to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine the white whole wheat flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the bread cool before slicing and serving.
