Instructions
- Peel and cut the potatoes into one inch chunks.
- Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water, adding salt as you would for pasta.
- Bring the pot to a boil and cook for 8-10 minutes until the potatoes are fork tender.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the hot pot.
- Add the butter, sour cream, and onion salt, then mash with a potato masher.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and milk to achieve desired consistency.
