Ingredients

The steak

  • pounds filet mignon

The seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, finely chopped
  • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Optional

  • to taste compound butter

Instructions

  1. Brush the steaks with avocado oil.
  2. Season the steaks with rosemary, salt, and pepper, then let them sit at room temperature for 1 hour.
  3. For an outdoor grill, preheat it to 500°F.
  4. Cook the steaks for 5 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 120°F for medium-rare.
  5. For a Ninja Foodi Grill, select the Grill Function, set the heat to High, and cook for 8-10 minutes depending on desired doneness.
  6. Place sliced compound butter on top of the steaks.
  7. Tent with foil and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
