Ingredients

Tempura

  • 1 serving Tempura (follow the tempura recipe)

Soba Noodles

  • 1 serving Soba Noodles (dry or frozen)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 piece Kombu Kelp (about 2 inches)
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Mirin

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tempura by breading and frying your seafood and/or vegetables.
  2. Cook the soba noodles according to package instructions and chill them.
  3. To serve, place the tempura on top of the chilled soba noodles.
  4. Prepare the dipping sauce (tentsuyu) by combining the water, kombu, soy sauce, and mirin.
  5. Serve the dish with the dipping sauce on the side.
