Instructions
- Prepare the sauce by heating sesame oil in a saucepan and stir-frying garlic and ginger.
- Add the remaining sauce ingredients and whisk, then simmer until thickened.
- Mix the batter ingredients until a loose batter forms, adjusting with water as necessary.
- Heat oil in a skillet for frying and test readiness with a small amount of batter.
- Dip cauliflower florets in the batter and fry until golden brown, flipping as needed.
- Remove fried cauliflower and let drain on paper towels.
- Toss the fried cauliflower with the sauce and serve topped with scallions and sesame seeds.
