Green Tahini Sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 fat cloves garlic
  • ¾ cup fresh herbs (Cilantro, Italian parsley, Mint, dill or basil or a combo)
  • 2–3 slices jalapeno (optional)
  • ½-1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup tahini paste

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients except the tahini paste until combined but not overly smooth.
  2. Add the tahini paste and blend until creamy, leaving some herbs intact.
  3. Taste and adjust salt, acid, and heat as desired.
  4. If a looser sauce is preferred, add more water until the desired consistency is reached.
