Sweet Potato, Kale, and Sausage Bake with White Cheese Sauce

Instructions
- 1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over high heat, add sweet potatoes and sausage, and brown them.
- 2. Toss in the kale and transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- 3. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- 4. In a separate pot, bring chicken broth and half the milk to a low boil.
- 5. Whisk flour with the remaining milk to form a paste, then add to the broth and whisk until smooth.
- 6. Stir in a quarter cup of Gruyere cheese until melted.
- 7. Pour the cheese sauce over the sweet potato mixture in the baking dish, top with remaining cheese, and bake for 10 minutes until bubbly.
