Ingredients

Crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup butter, melted

Filling

  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 10 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • 20–30 pieces large marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl, then press into a greased 9-inch pie plate and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, whisk together cream and milk, warming over medium-low heat.
  4. Add chocolate to the warm mixture and stir until melted and smooth.
  5. Slowly incorporate vanilla and whisked eggs, mixing until smooth.
  6. Pour the chocolate filling into the baked crust and bake for 15-20 minutes until set.
  7. Cut marshmallows in half and arrange them over the pie.
  8. Broil the pie until the marshmallows are golden, watching closely to avoid burning.
  9. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours or serve warm, optionally drizzling with chocolate sauce.
