Super Easy S'Mores Chocolate Pie

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 7 tablespoons butter, melted

Filling

  • 1 ½ cups semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips or bar chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • teaspoon coarse, kosher salt

Topping

  • 20-25 large marshmallows, cut in half

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine crust ingredients and press into a 9-inch pie plate or tart pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden and let it cool completely.
  4. For the filling, heat cream until steaming and pour over chocolate, letting it sit for 1-2 minutes before stirring until smooth.
  5. Stir in vanilla and salt, then pour the ganache into the cooled crust and chill for at least an hour.
  6. Preheat the oven broiler and cover the pie with cut marshmallows, cut side down.
  7. Broil until marshmallows puff and turn golden, about 1 minute, watching closely.
  8. Let the pie rest at room temperature or refrigerate for 20-30 minutes to set.
  9. Slice with a hot knife and serve.
