Ingredients

The wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings

The coating

  • 5 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder

For grilling

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix all dry ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry and coat them with the spice mix.
  3. Brush the grill with oil and preheat to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the chicken wings for 20-25 minutes, flipping every 5 minutes until cooked through.
