Breakfast Pita Pizza

Ingredients

The pita

  • 1 whole whole wheat pita

The toppings

  • 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp jam
  • 2 tbsp chopped salted pistachios

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425ºF.
  2. Brush the top of the pita with olive oil, reserving some for later.
  3. Spread the jam on top of the pita, avoiding the edges.
  4. Sprinkle pistachios on top and brush them lightly with the remaining olive oil.
  5. Place the pita on a baking sheet and bake for 5 to 10 minutes until the jam is bubbly and the pistachios are golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into four pieces.
