Ingredients

The base

  • 8 oz. Greek Yogurt Cream Cheese
  • 1 Large Brown Organic Egg
  • ½ cup Creme Fraiche
  • 1 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
  • ¼ tsp. Garlic Powder

The tomato layer

  • 28 oz. Fire Roasted Crushed Tomatoes
  • ½ tsp. Black Pepper
  • ¼ tsp. Red Cayenne Pepper
  • cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • ½ tsp. Oregano

The sausage and veggie mixture

  • 4 oz. Baby Bella Mushrooms
  • ¼ cup Onion, Chopped
  • ¼ cup Red Bell Pepper, Chopped
  • ¼ cup Green Bell Pepper, Chopped
  • ¼ cup Celery, Chopped
  • 13 oz. Smoked Chicken Sausage

The topping

  • 1 lb. Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix Greek yogurt cream cheese, egg, creme fraiche, red pepper flakes, and garlic powder until smooth and set aside.
  3. In a pot, combine fire-roasted crushed tomatoes, black pepper, red cayenne pepper, Parmesan cheese, and oregano. Cook until bubbling, then remove from heat.
  4. In a pan, sauté mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, celery, and smoked chicken sausage until browned, about 5 to 8 minutes, then set aside.
  5. Cut mozzarella cheese into small chunks and set aside.
  6. In a baking dish, layer the cream cheese mixture, followed by the spicy crushed tomato sauce, then the sausage and veggie mixture, and top with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake the dip for 20 minutes and serve hot with toasted crostini or tortilla chips.
