Ginger Sesame Chicken

dry wine (sherry or Riesling)

Instructions
- Toast the sesame seeds in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes, then set aside.
- Mix the water, soy sauce, maple syrup, wine, ginger, and five spice in a bowl.
- Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a Ziploc bag, add chicken, and shake to coat.
- Heat sesame oil in the skillet, add chicken, and cook until browned (about 5 minutes).
- Pour the sauce over the chicken, stir to coat, and cook until thickened.
- Add toasted sesame seeds and stir to combine. Serve over cooked rice if desired.
