Ingredients

The chicken

  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts

The sauce

  • ¼ cup coconut aminos
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil or avocado oil
  • 3 tbsp arrowroot or tapioca flour or corn starch
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional, but recommended)
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into small cubes and coat with flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together coconut aminos, honey, ginger, garlic, sriracha, and sesame seeds.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, then add the chicken and stir, adding more oil if necessary.
  4. Cook the chicken for about 5 to 6 minutes until browned.
  5. Add the sauce to the chicken and cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and serve.
