Garlic Scallops

The sauce

olive oil

Instructions
- Rinse the scallops under cold water and remove the tough ligament.
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels.
- Heat a skillet over medium to high heat and add olive oil and melted butter.
- Sauté the minced garlic briefly.
- Add the scallops to the skillet and pan-sear until both sides are browned.
- Pour in the white wine, and add cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a light simmer and cook until the scallops are cooked through.
- Turn off the heat and serve immediately.
