Creamy Garlic Scallops

The sauce

Instructions
- Rinse the scallops and pat them dry, then season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a skillet with olive oil and butter, then pan-sear the scallops until browned on both sides and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the garlic, adding more olive oil if needed.
- Add the cream, water, wine, salt, and cayenne pepper, and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return the scallops to the skillet along with parsley and lemon wedges, then serve immediately.
