Keto Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients

The sauce

  • cup Coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tsp Ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • ¼ cup Chicken broth, reduced sodium
  • 1 tbsp Unflavored gelatin powder

The stir fry

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 cups Broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 lb Flank steak, sliced thinly

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the coconut aminos, fish sauce, ground ginger, and crushed red pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Transfer 2 tablespoons of the mixture to a large bowl, add olive oil, and marinate the beef for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat, add the beef, and stir fry until browned. Remove and keep warm.
  4. In the same pan, heat more olive oil, add broccoli, cover, and cook until tender.
  5. Whisk chicken broth and gelatin into the reserved marinade until smooth.
  6. Sauté garlic in the pan until fragrant, then pour in the sauce and simmer until thickened.
  7. Add the beef and broccoli back to the pan, toss to coat, and stir fry until hot.
