The frosting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease two 8-inch springform cake pans.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a thick batter forms.
- Fold in the sprinkles.
- Distribute the batter evenly between the two cake pans.
- Bake for 27-30 minutes until a skewer comes out clean.
- Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool completely.
- Once cool, remove the cakes from the pans and slice each cake in half to create four layers.
- Layer the cakes with frosting, spreading ¼ of the frosting between each layer.
- Cover the exterior of the cake with extra frosting and let it sit for 30 minutes before serving.
