Homemade Breadsticks

Instructions
- Activate the yeast by mixing it with ¼ cup of warm water and a teaspoon of honey, and let it sit until bubbly.
- In a stand mixer, combine the flour and salt, then add the yeast mixture, ½ cup warm water, 2 tablespoons olive oil, and the remaining tablespoon of honey.
- Mix the dough until well combined and not sticky, adding more water or flour as needed.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 3 minutes until smooth.
- Divide the dough into 12 pieces and roll each into a 5-inch log, placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Cover the breadsticks with a kitchen towel and let them rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Brush the breadsticks with ½ tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle with 1/8 teaspoon of salt.
- Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix the remaining salt with onion powder, garlic powder, and oregano, then sprinkle over the warm breadsticks after baking.
