Creamy Green Bean Casserole

Instructions
- If using frozen green beans, boil them for about 10 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a large pan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the drained mushrooms and sliced onions to the pan, sautéing for about 5 minutes until the onions are soft.
- Stir in the mushroom soup, cheese, Tabasco sauce, soy sauce, and pepper until the cheese melts.
- Add the green beans and water chestnuts to the pan, stirring to coat them well.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and garnish with sliced almonds.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes, removing the foil about 20 minutes in.
