Tomato Tuna Melts

The tuna salad

solid white tuna in water, slightly drained

The tomatoes
The cheese

Cheddar cheese, 2 ½ oz total
Instructions
- Preheat the broiler to high and adjust the rack to the second position from the top.
- Arrange the halved tomatoes on a baking tray and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine the tuna salad ingredients.
- Top each tomato half with ¼ cup of tuna salad and a slice of cheese.
- Broil the tomatoes until the cheese is melted, about 1 to 2 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
