Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the tuna, green onion, celery, parsley, Creole seasoning, garlic, lemon juice, mayonnaise, mustard, and salt.
- For the oven method, place bread slices on a lined baking sheet and brush one side with melted butter or olive oil. Toast for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the bread and top with tuna salad, cheese, and any optional fillings like tomatoes or avocado.
- Cover with another slice of bread and bake until the cheese is melted, about 5-8 minutes.
- For the skillet method, spread tuna salad on half of the bread slices, add cheese and optional toppings, and brush with butter.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, add butter, and cook the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese melts.
